A student asked the master, "How can I find peace?" The master led him to a pond and said, "Watch the water." The student saw his reflection clearly. Then the master threw a stone, disturbing the surface. "Your mind is like this water. When turbulent, you cannot see clearly. Let it settle, and clarity returns."
